The most important thing is to express herself directly, getting straight to the point and without emphasis.
She is particularly interested in sweetness and in the existence impulse.
Carola knows very well that it’s normal to be without defenses, exposed to the mystery of what could happen in the future, when in front of the canvas.
The “portrait” comes out easily, as a vitality prompt expression, as those “football players” are the expression of the energy set in every human being; football players that are filling her portraits in the last time. Just in this way “portraits” and “football players” can justify themselves, as by the way every other symbol in her future images.
Of course Carola has a behavior firmer than that appears at a first sight.
Her imaginary world is full of contradictions, but they are also her luck, because they allow her to have other fantasies, dreams and inventions.
It’s always her imaginative world that matters: it’s a world that allows her to discover other suggestions and truths.
 This is the arcane meaning that encloses our passage on earth. She expressed this few years ago.
Then she said: “All our being is a intertwining of combinations, with a strength that goes from where we started to where we’ll arrive”.
When we look at her paintings it’s possible to understand the statement of this meaning. Her works have a hidden meaning: “mysterious”, indeed. Her “portraits” and “football players” are the same of the represented figures, but all together allude to something bigger: the reason for which we are here, we breath and we are life. At the end Carola is mostly enchanted by this.
And this is a deep question and Carola answers with her paintings. What more can an artist do? But the question is for everyone. That is: another time we are here to propose it again.
